Wash those hands!
Introducing Covid protocols to young students can sometimes be a bit difficult. To help students understand one of our main routines, hand washing, I used a science project.
Using a glow powder and a UV light, I showed students how invisible germs can spread between people.
We then modelled proper handwashing techniques, with students guiding me and then completing the task themselves.
